I laughed at the mice and the hose and the fart idea. XDDD I guess those wouldn't have gone over too well with your teacher, huh? XD
I think the one you finally decided on had the best composition with the most sense of action and motion, even at the sketch (not the thumbnail) stage. I also think the final colors are the most suiting as well, but the sci-fi fan in me kinda liked the pink and green scheme as well. XD
